Our tour begins in the main square, we will visit the cathedral, the temple of Santo Domingo also known as Qoricancha since it is a fusion of Inca and colonial, it was the most important temple during the Inca empire since the construction was carried out to worship the Sun God. Its walls were formerly lined with gold, in one of the blocks of the second layer of stone you can see three holes that possibly served to drain rainwater from the patio or from the sacrificed chicha. According to Barandiarán’s experiments you can hear the musical notes re, la and sol when you hit the holes.
Continuing with our tour through the typical streets of Cusco, you will learn about its history and the meaning of the streets, we will pass by the stone of the 12 angles, continuing you will see the Andean trilogy such as the condor, the puma and the snake. Then we will visit the artisans’ neighborhood called San Blas, we will pass by the street of the 7 little sheep and the San Cristobal viewpoint.
