Discover this route of the sun from Cusco to Puno by tourist bus, where you can explore Inca archaeological centers. As a first stop, we will arrive at the town of Andahuaylillas, where you will find the Church known as the Sistine Chapel of America, built by the Jesuits in the 16th century. A Spanish and Inca construction of the time, which was built on top of a huaca or sacred place of the Incas.
Continuing with the trip, we will arrive at the archaeological center of Raqchi “Temple of the God Wiracocha” The most important building that according to ancient chroniclers was built by the Inca Wiracocha in honor of the “Sun God” “Apu Kon Titi Wiracocha”
Next, you will arrive at Juliaca where you will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at the La Paskana restaurant. You will continue your route towards the border to appreciate the Peruvian auquénidos. The last point to visit is the Pukara stone museum before arriving at Puno. 17:00 Hrs arrival in Puno and transfer to the hotel.
Our adventure begins at 7:15 Hrs with a leisurely boat trip from Puno to the floating islands of the Uros, where we discover their fascinating culture and lifestyle in a unique setting. We will sail around these 75 islands that are organized today, offering us a fascinating view of their way of life. After a long and enriching visit, we will head to the natural island of Taquile.
The journey will take us by boat for two hours until we reach the beautiful Taquile Island, which still preserves its ancient customs and traditions. Here, you will enjoy a typical lunch and have the opportunity to explore a craft fair where local inhabitants exhibit their skills.
Then, we venture on a walk around the islands to finally return to Puno around 17:00 Hrs. After a day full of authentic experiences and breathtaking landscapes, you will return to your accommodation in Puno, taking with you unforgettable memories.
