MAGIC TOUR IN THE JUNGLE IN IQUITOS 3D/2N

Day 1: Pick up from the airport and welcome to the Amazon Rescue Center

The trip begins with a warm welcome at the airport at 09:00 Hrs. The first stop is the Amazon Rescue Center (CREA) in Iquitos, where species recovered from illegal trade are rehabilitated. Afterwards, you visit the port of Bellavista – Nanay, an exotic spot with a vibrant market. Then, you sail along the Amazon River, enjoying its lush vegetation and blue skies.

Upon arrival at the village of Amak, you receive a welcome drink and stay in simple cabins but integrated with nature. After a local meal, you explore the Yanayacu River, known for its beautiful water mirrors. At nightfall, you return to the village following a path lit with torches to the dining room, where you enjoy a gourmet dinner with Amazonian flavors. The after-dinner conversation allows you to remember the day and prepare your equipment to continue the adventure.

Day 2: Pink Dolphin Watching – Monkey Island

At 4:30 am, we will go bird watching and pink dolphin watching in small traditional boats, guided by a local expert. After breakfast, we will visit Monkey Island, home to more than 200 primates in the wild, where we can interact with them and learn about their rescue.

Lunch features local flavors and exotic products, highlighting local cuisine that supports native communities. In the afternoon, we will explore the Amazon rainforest, observing its ecosystem and species such as musmuqui monkeys, leaf-cutting ants, and herons, depending on the weather and nature.

As night falls, we will take a night walk with ultraviolet flashlights to observe tarantulas, scorpions, and other nocturnal animals. The day ends with dinner under a starry sky in the maloca, which also serves as a social area to load equipment and relax.

Day 3: Visit to the Yaguas Tribe

On the last day, you will visit one of the Local Communities, such as Palmas, Tímico or Yaguas, which preserve their customs and traditions through fishing and agriculture. Afterwards, there is free time to enjoy the village or swim in the river, while packing.

Before leaving, you will enjoy a final gastronomic experience. The farewell includes a river trip down the Amazon River, which marks the return to the city and the end of the adventure.
