Lunch in the bohemian and cultural district of Lima “Barranco” we will enjoy Peruvian gastronomy.
City tour, we begin by visiting the center of Lima, passing through the different neighborhoods of San Isidro, Lince and Cercado. We appreciate the Palace of Justice, Museum of Lima, Museum of Italian Art, French Palace and Plaza San Martín. Our pedestrian visit begins in the Plaza de Armas where in addition to appreciating the Cathedral of Lima, Government Palace, Archbishop’s Palace; We will have free time to take photos. We entered the Convent of San Francisco and visited one of the main attractions, its catacombs, which are a series of underground passages under the church, where the remains of more than 25,000 people are found.

09:40 Hrs. We board at the Marina Club del Callao and set sail for the Callao Islands. At the beginning we observe the anchorage of yachts, warships and merchant ships in the bay of Callao. During the journey we passed through the lower “El Camotal”, open sea. We pass through San Lorenzo Island, with rich stories that come from pre-Columbian times. We see boats at work fishing, various colonies of guano birds and Humboldt penguins. We arrive at the furthest point, Palomino Island, which is home to a large colony of sea lions, where we can swim with wetsuits freely among them, thanks to the absence of predators, it is an unforgettable moment full of emotions. We return through cliffs and islets of impressive shapes. A snack is served before arriving at the pier and returning to the Hotel.
09.40 a.m. In Lima there are varied markets with products that come from different corners of Peru, which has generated marked contrasts that are felt in all aspects of life in the city, including gastronomy. On this occasion we will visit the popular Surquillo market, preferred by famous chefs. A totally new and different proposal. In this themed restaurant from the Chef’s hand we will learn to cook our tourist lunch, additionally we will be able to taste an exquisite Pisco Sour or Chilcano. You will live a unique experience learning from the best chefs of Peruvian cuisine.
