Andean Wedding in the Sacred Valley of the Incas

Day 1: ANDEAN WEDDING

Pick up from the hotel to go to the community of Pongobamba in Chincheros, where the guide will give us an introduction to religious syncretism, explaining everything about the Community and the Association “Cusi Kawsay”. Welcome ceremony by the community members, dance and offerings with flowers.

We will begin our preparations for an important event “Andean wedding” where they will unite their hearts before Pachamama (Mother Earth) and Tayta Inti (Father God Sun), the Apus (great protective spirits).

After the ceremony they will have a traditional lunch, they will enjoy Andean food, finishing the association will bid them farewell with a farewell show.

• Leave Only Footprints: Follow the “Leave Only Footprints” principle and collect any waste you generate during your visit, making sure not to leave any trace of your time in nature.
