Pick up from the hotel between 06:30 Hrs. and 07:00 hrs. Departure from the city of Cusco towards Km. 82. Desde this point the guide will give information about the dia’s activities.
We will begin our tour accompanied by “Quechua” porters advancing through the fertile valleys along the Urubamba River with a magnificent view of the snow-capped mountain and Veronica glacier, then we will continue to Llactapata, an ancient Inca city that protected the entrance to two valleys of the ancient Inca dwelling, privileged position, the guide will explain the sector, then we will walk 1:30 HRS to the Huayllabamba camp after a small climb to 3,000 meters above sea level and 12°C.
In the morning between 06:00 HRS. We will have 30 minutes for personal hygiene and preparing our backpacks and then enjoy breakfast in our dining tent.
Departure of the group, as the first dia they will begin to climb towards an Inca village of Wayllabamba to the Warmiwañusca pass (the pass of the dead woman) at 4,200 MTS. Prior to this point we will have a Coffee break, and continue walking to the highest part of the route between 4 to 5 hours. Desde which point there is a panoramic view of singular beauty of two valleys.
Lunch will be served at the camp, then we will continue with the walk, but this time downhill for approximately two hours, until we reach the Pacaymayo camp. Tea service at 17:30 HRS. and dinner at 7:00 p.m. HRS. approx.
Overnight at the camp.
In the morning from 06:00 Hrs. We will have 30 minutes for personal hygiene and preparing our backpacks, then we will serve ourselves breakfast in our dining tent, the main guide will give you a briefing on the dia’s activities and then we will continue with our tour.
This dia we will walk along a remarkably well-preserved stretch of Inca trail, passing ancient archaeological remains covered by a dense tropical forest, then we will visit Runkurakay, Sayacmarca, after this walk we will have lunch and then continue the walk until we reach Phuyupatamarca (city on clouds)
We will have a spectacular view of several snow-capped peaks of the Andean mountain range, from where we will descend in a continuous two-hour descent until arriving at the Wiñaywayna camp, the most spectacular archaeological complex on the tour with lush cloud forest covered in flowers and enigmatic history. At this point the shower service is available.
At night we will enjoy an excellent buffet dinner and as is tradition the group will make a voluntary collection of tips from the group of Quechua porters.
On this last dia they will get up very early to say goodbye to the group of porters and continue with the walk.
group departure time 05:30 HRS. Until we reach the Inca Trail checkpoint, we will head through the tropical jungle entering the Intipunku (Puerta del Sol) which we will arrive in approximately two hours.
Arriving at the entrance, the group will leave their backpacks in a luggage storage, after a 20-minute break we will enter.
Entrance to Machu Picchu, the Inca citadel, you will have two hours of guidance, after finishing the tour, go down to the town of Aguas Calientes.
Departure by Expedition train to the Ollantaytambo station where the tourist bus awaits you to transfer to Cusco.
