We will previously coordinate your flight schedule for pick up from the airport and transfer to the hotel.
The tourist transportation will pick you up at the hotel to start the City Tour, this tour will give you the opportunity to learn about the rich history and amazing architecture of Arequipa, immersing yourself in the charms of this jewel of southern Peru. During this tour, you will explore some of the city’s most emblematic treasures, including the Plaza de Armas, the Mirador de Carmen Alto, the Plaza and Mirador de Yanahuara, the Founder’s Mansion and the impressive Santa Catalina Convent.

The mobility passes through the different hotels to start our trip to one of the deepest canyons in the world, taking the road to Yura, bordering the Nevado Chachani to Pampa Cañahuas (National Reserve of Aguada Blanca and Salinas) habitat of the beautiful South American camelids, the vicuñas, then we can appreciate a variety of migratory birds, among which are the flamingos. We will pass through the crater of an extinct volcano (Chucura). We will stop at the viewpoint of the volcanoes, which is also the highest area of the road (4,800 m.a.s.l.) from where we can appreciate a great part of the western mountain range.
Arrival to Yanque, buffet lunch and we will leave you at the hotel ⭐⭐⭐⭐. In the afternoon you will enjoy the thermal baths of the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to the Cruz del Condor viewpoint, a strategic observation point of the canyon and the spectacular flight of the condor. On the way back we will stop in the villages of Pinchollo, Achoma, Maca and Yanque, which have beautiful colonial churches, as well as in the viewpoints of Choquetico and Antahuilque, from where we will observe the impressive terraces of the valley, the pre-Inca tombs and models. There we will have our buffet lunch at 2:00 p.m. After lunch, we will return to the hotel in Arequipa.
We begin our trip to the Ruta del Sillar which is a tourist route with a lot of history and living culture, where we will visit quarries and areas where the sillar originated. At this point we will tell you the history of the sillar, the elaboration and the use that has always been given to it. In this quarry you will be able to appreciate a Megatallado of the Church of the Company of Jesus.
We continue to the Quebrada de Culebrillas, which is located 30 minutes from Añashuayco (cutters sector) where we appreciate the extraction technique, cutting and carving that local sculptors perform in the stone of the ashlar. Arriving at this point we will make a walk of approximately 20 minutes and we will be able to observe petroglyphs made by the Wari culture more than a thousand years ago. Before returning to the city we will observe the Apachetas which are stone formations placed one on top of the other that are a symbol of gratitude to nature and also an attraction of good luck that cause a mystical feeling.
At the end of the tour, we will return to the city of Arequipa and transfer to the airport to board your domestic flight.
